     I must HARDily recommend "FARGO ROCK CITY ",  the book by Chuck Klosterman. This book is incredible to me for a couple of reasons. # 1 being that it contains what is to me is a true rarity these days: music journalism that actually has a focused, intense LOVE of MUSIC.
 Chuck Klosterman truly understands rock'n'roll because he LOVES rock'n'roll MUSIC. It literally drips off the pages of FARGO ROCK CITY. From my perspective, this book was fascinating because it provided me with the viewpoint from the fan, & all these years later it is refreshing to see what it looked like from the other side of the pit. To read about & realize the effect of metal in America's heartland is really cool 12 years after it happened, & I am very grateful for Mr. Klosterman for capturing the moment with such clarity, because those of us who actually make this music probably, like me, have somewhat hazy recollections of this time! It was the greatest party I can't remember, so that means it must have been a hoot !! Thanks alot Chuck Klosterman for a great read & KEEP ROCKIN' !!!!!! Like there is another option.
